a letter from our founder
I understand what it's like to build a business because I've spent more than 25 years doing it myself.
Growing up in North Georgia in an entrepreneurial family taught me the value of hard work, personal responsibility, and serving others. After graduating from Mercer University, my husband and I spent decades building and operating small businesses, experiencing firsthand the challenges that business owners face every day.
The lessons I learned during the Great Recession fundamentally shaped my approach to helping clients today. Like many business owners, I discovered that financial and tax decisions can have significant consequences when expectations, advice, and reality don't align. Navigating those challenges gave me a deep appreciation for the importance of proactive planning, compliance, and having the right advocate in your corner.
As an Enrolled Agent, I help individuals and small business owners resolve IRS and state tax issues, including tax debt, installment agreements, payroll tax problems, IRS notices, and collection matters. My goal is not only to help clients solve today's tax problems, but also to develop strategies that help prevent future problems from occurring.
Whether you're facing an IRS notice, struggling with tax debt, or looking for proactive tax planning, you'll work with someone who understands both the technical side of taxation and the realities of running a business.
I look forward to helping you move forward with confidence.
